I got a bad computer

I will contact new egg and then write a follow up as to how their customer service responds. So far, the process would receive an "F"

Nice computer while the motherboard was functioning properly. Delivered on everything it said it would until the board malfuctioned ; Purchased 12/13/2013. Motherboard is shot: 8/7/2014

Motherboard is shot. Non of the USBs recognize anything. I have performed every "fix" without success ; ASUS will not honor this machine since I bought it refurbished

suddenly stoped working and Asus customer service also not cooperative. DO NOT BUY ANY ASUS PRODUCTS... PERIOD. I REPEAT PEICE OF JUNK.

Great specs for the price, paid 2.7 benjamins with VMO. Immediately stuck an SSD in it and it performs 9/10's of a true ultrabook minus the battery life. With stock hard drive it boots in 25 seconds not bad, but with SSD boots in 5 seconds and shuts...

Battery life! Even with SSD it has been all over the board depending on use but nowhere near 4 hrs more like 2.5 to 3 depending on use. I suspect they did not replace batteries on refurbs FYI so YMMV depending on it's condition

Nice portable laptop

Overall this thing was a steal at under $275 when I purchased it. I wanted an affordable, small, portable notebook without having to sacrifice a ton of performance like with many of the netbooks with atom processors. I am coming from a samsung qx410...

Screen, price, size, 4gb ram in a budget netbook, decent i3 processor, touchscreen

the arrow keys are infuriating because the up and down are only about a 1/2 in width because of the oversize backspace, enter and shift keys, ram in not upgradeable, requires smaller 7mm ssd, windows 8

Fantastic and compact

If you can buy this machine refurbished, do it. You won't regret it.

Got this netbook refurbished at $299. With these specs, it's an absolute steal. The machine is designed to be very compact and sleek. The touchscreen is high quality. Battery life is great

Keyboard is a bit noisy and isn't backlit. Considering what you get though (especially for the price) it isn't that much of a problem
