Acer Swift Edge

The Acer Swift Edge is one of the lightest 16-inch laptops on the market, coming with a vibrant OLED 4K display.

Gorgeous 4K OLED display ; Extremely light for its size ; Great port selection ; Reliable productivity performance

Speakers don’t get very loud ; Awkward typing experience ; Not quite as powerful as rivals ; Battery life is below par

Acer Swift Edge 16 review: An incredibly portable but flawed 16-inch notebook

This is a 16-inch notebook that weighs less than most 13 and 14-inch notebooks. Yes, you read that right.

Truly portable, incredibly light and thin ; Sharp OLED display ; Decent performance ; Good battery life ; Good port selection

Doesn't feel absolutely solid ; No touchscreen ; Imprecise trackpad ; Weak-sounding speakers ; No support for Thunderbolt 4 & USB4

The TL;DR verdict: It’s not without its flaws but if you’ve always wanted a notebook with a big display and without the associated weight penalty, this is one notebook you should definitely check out.
