If you want a gorgeous-looking laptop that'll handle some serious work, then the Acer Swift 5 could be the laptop for you. It's compact, well-built and easy to live with. There are a few shortcomings, but it's a solid all-rounder in most regards.

The TL;DR version: An ultraportable notebook with very solid qualities and few flaws. It's also priced reasonably. Should be high on your shortlist if you are looking to buy a new notebook.
