Where should I begin ; 1) The fan refused to turn even if placed on a flat surface -- I had to hold the whole pad up for it even to turn a little ; 2) The fan was poorly designed, it made an audible squeaking noise and didn't even make a breeze at all...

The fan is making an obnoxious clicking sound now whenever it's on; I want this unit to be replaced

Works best with a platform on which to rest. Ideal for larger notebooks, but leave it at home if you have a smaller laptop ; Wouldn't buy it if more than $25/ not on sale

Great for a larger 15-17 notebook. Fit perfect for my 17" HP entertainment laptop with extended battery ; Good airflow with a nice housing for the 200mm fan ; Can turn fan on and off ; USB powered so no extra power cords hanging around
