Consumer review (newegg.com)

Disappointed.

The Cherry MX Brown switches feel awesome

This keyboard is no compatible with Linux. Many of the keys just do no function. (Shift, Alt, etc.)

amazing!

I bought this for SC2 and am happy that I did! My apm will definitely improve. The keyboard feels solid.

On and off feature for the light (as well as 2 color choices), is great b/c I found it too distracting while playing ; Will never slip around on desk ; Pressing keys feels awesome and sounds awesome

After 20 hours of gaming, my main 3 spam keys are beginning to fade slightly ; Price

Awesome

I love this thing. I don't care if the letters are fading quickly - I don't look at the keyboard anyway. And they are only fading on my SC2 spam keys. The overall feel of the keyboard is incredible, I will never go back to a rubber dome for gaming (or...

Superb feel. Extremely satisfying, almost hypnotic sound. Heavy, well made, does not BUDGE on the desk

The printed letters fade quickly. The shift key on the right side is shorter and the \ key is next to it instead of above the enter key. Makes hitting question marks weird if you use the right shift...maybe that's just me. At any rate, it's not standard

Zowie keyboard

I did some research and I decided brown switches were the best for me, i heard the black switches were best for gaming, but black switches are stiff , and tiring, and they were also hard to type on. My fingers got tired with my old keyboard so i was...

First impression out of the box was the weight, i wasn't expecting it to be so heavy. It feels very solid. The bottom of the keyboard is completely flat, but the keyboard is still angled, it's not held up by flimsy stands which is nice. This is my...

The cord length is one of the shorter ones i've seen. If you have your computer directly underneath your desk it shouldn't be a problem, but you might want to check the cord length if your computer isn't relatively close ; The packaging was nice, and...

Good mechanical keyboard

If you live in the US and want Cherry MX Brown switches, it's either this or the Das Keyboard Silent, at least as of this writing. If your heart isn't set on a particular type of mechanical switch, however, you can get a Unicomp with buckling spring...

Cherry MX Brown switches ; Garish lights can be turned off ; Part of the packaging serves nicely as a keyboard cover

Lettering on keys is visibly fading after only 2 weeks use ; Garish lights ; Marketed to gamers, so be prepared to be mildly embarrassed by the lights and logo if you aren't one (and maybe even if you are). Not as bad as some, true, but come on, it's...

Finally found the best mechanical keyboard!

I just got my brand new Zowie Celeritas mechanical keyboard ($127 shipped from Newegg) and absolutely love it. The Cherry Brown switches are a dream to type on - smooth, quiet, accurate. There's almost zero resistance, even less than with the Cherry...

Cherry MX Brown switches arte the best ; Clean, matte black finish ; Solid build

Kinda pricey but worth it

Great Keyboard & very well made

I have recently tried several of the top leading mechanical keyboards in the reasonable price ranges ($100-$200) Other boards that I own are the DAS professional(Ok but not my cup of tea), XArmor u9BL(Poorly made), Razer Blackwidow(really good quality...

I have been on the search for a mechanical keyboard that fit my needs. I am a Gamer/Designer that mostly plays StarCraft2 and The Battlefield Series. The keyboard feels study and really well built. The keys are very responsive, and the layout is great

None except I wish I purchased it sooner
