Dud

I bought a couple of these because of the price, and as it turns out, should've looked elsewhere. I will never get used to typing on this, much less using the trackball. Pretty disappointed overall, but maybe I should've had low standards going into this.

Just What I Needed

My dental practice is computerized and we needed small keyboards that would not take up too much space in the operatories. I used to have wireless keyboards but got tired of missed keystrokes constantly. The cable is long enough to move it where I need...

Product works

PROS: I have the keyboard-mouse combo connected to my KVM switch and it is recognized on every computer that I connect to it.CONS: The mouse is a little squeaky and the performance of the mouse could scroll smoother for the price I paid of $39.99.

Awkward and noisy

The roller ball does not track well. Most of the time I just give up on it and plug in a mouse. It's a little awkward to have the mouse buttons on the opposite side of the key board from the roller ball. Some of the keys are in unusual spots, like the...

OK after wear in of mouse ball

At first the track ball would ''stick'' with limited range of motion unless I repeatedly spun it and then it would walk across the screen. After a week it acted normally. It has worked great since then. This really helps reduce the space used on my...

Does the job after mods

I removed the trackball, by twisting the tb housing COUNTERCLOCKWISE, then I rolled the trackball in 400 grit, that's four hundred grit, sandpaper. I rolled it like I was trying to warm up my hands, until the tb had very fine scoring over the entire...

small, works, xp saw it with no big installation. 1 star until mod, 4 stars so far now. it works great, post mod

trackball *sucked* did not track. The tb is too slick, see other thoughts for my fix, ymmv

Keyboard OK, trackball sucks

Small size is nice, but when you still need a mouse on your desk, what good is it?

Small footprint, color (black) looks nice with the rest of my stuff

Trackball is junk. The ball itself feels cheap and needs constant cleaning. It's definitely not practical for everyday use. In other words, it won't replace your mouse, not by a long shot
