Against fierce competition in the growing 60% keyboard space, the Roccat Vulcan II Mini Air has plenty to offer but it comes at a price.

Bright, vibrant RGB ; Portable ; Optical switches

Very expensive ; No actuation adjustment ; Looks aren’t for everyone

Lightweight and compact ; Bluetooth, dongle, and wired connectivity ; Proximity sensor for RGB backlighting ; Long battery life ; Dongle storage slot

Dual lighting zones make labels hard to read ; Clumsy, inaccurate typing experience in testing ; Wobbly keycaps ; Pricey

Some impressive tech comes packed into Roccat's 65% mechanical gaming keyboard, but quirky backlighting and keycaps keep the Vulcan II Mini Air from being a joy to use.
