DOA

Wouldn't recommend this keyboard. Not a very good design. Spend the extra money if you want a back lit keyboard and buy a saitek.

Shortlived light

I looks nice, the light covers the function keys, on/off light switch.

Using the light most nights it lasted about 3 months before dieing, now it works as a *regular* keyboard.

Well, it's certainly cheap for a light up keyboard, and the light is sufficient if you don't plan to use it in the dark for prolonged periods of time.

The keys are awkwardly positioned.

Normally this keyboard wouldn't be so bad, but I have smaller hands, and that causes a lot of problems with it. I got it as a Christmas present, but I'll be giving it to someone and buying my own. Choose a better design unless you're on a budget.

The keys are awkwardly positioned. It's not so hard to get used to if you happen to have bigger hands, but I find that I keep pressing the wrong buttons by mistake. The lighting is also poor - it lights up the entire key, and although it looks better,...

A little off-key

It mostly works, doesn't look that bad

The backlight function quit working after about a week ; I was expecting a better keyboard for the price. The keyboard feels better than the really cheap units, but not by much. Your milage may vary, but I can't recommend this unit

Good Stuff

Nice and fast service, as usual. Good backlit board for not a lot of cash, and so far, only minor problems, mostly consisting of simply having to adjust to key placement. If you're looking for a nice board and don't want to spend a ton of dough, I have...

This is a very nice keyboard. It's lights are not that bright at all, while still being more than bright enough to see in low lighting levels. It's the only one that I found on Newegg that doesn't use the scroll lock key to activate the lights; rather,...

There are some minor key placement issues. The backspace key is the same size as the rest of the keys, which can make for a few attempts at backspacing a tad frustrating, as the \ key is actually up next to it, due to the oversized backwards L shaped...

Laptop?

Bright lighting. Easy to read keys

Keys on top of board are not lit and it feels like a laptop keyboard. Very awkward for desktop user
