Microsoft makes a return to form with a great gaming keyboard.
Microsoft's SideWinder X6 is a fantastic return to form for the company. It feels great to type on, has as much macro-ing functionality as anyone will ever need and the ability to swap the numpad from left to right is a real masterstroke. If you're in...

In this review we will be focusing on Microsoft's latest gaming peripherals. The X5 gaming mouse lends its design from the previous SideWinder Gaming Mouse. X6 Gaming Keyboard on the other hand is a completely new product.
Easy to use software, Accurate tracking, Rubberized sides, Easy to use software, Adjustable backlighting, Rotary knobs, Same size, more keys/functions, (Un)mountable numpad
Feels a bit "cheap", Feels a bit "plastic", No height control at the back, No USB hub
It is just plain hard to judge certain types of hardware. Mice is one good example of these. What fits ones hand can be terrible to another. What makes ones gaming experience more intense and "productive" may make another gamer to shoot his/hers on...

Gaming keyboard with 90 programmable macro keys and a detachable number pad.
Detachable number pad, 90 programmable macro keys, media controls, short keys make for a fast typing experience, cool cruise control system
No USB ports, no stands on the base
A pretty impressive gaming keyboard; for macro freaks, the 90 programmable keys should prove very enticing and the host of controls combined with the detachable number pad make for a very flexible unit.

Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Gaming Keyboard
Thirty programmable keys; profile switching; nice selection of vanity keys; automatically loads custom game configurations.
Not very comfortable for everyday typing; no adjustable height and angle; wrist pad isn't soft and can't detach from keyboard.
With its 30 programmable buttons, the Sidewinder X6 is solid choice for PC gamers who demand total customization. Its removable keypad is also sure to draw in the gamer who wants control over ergonomic preferences.

Simple layout doesn't overcomplicate or clutter. Good key response. Up to 72 storable macros. Quick access keys are real buttons. Swappable numpad gives flexibility.
Intellitype software needs a little tweaking to remove unsupported functions.
The X6 is an excellent gaming keyboard, providing innovation and useful features while keeping things simple.

Keyboards were created as a way to interact with the computer, making it the first and still the essential method to go with. Even with the advancement of capacitive touch technology, such as tablets and phones, the keyboard is still king of the hill,...

The Sidewinder X6 is one of Microsoft's first gaming keyboards. Compared to a regular, basic, Dell one, it's quite the fancy spectacle, with back-lit keys and a detachable keypad! Now, let's take a look at the packaging. The keyboard is in a standard...
Overall, this is a well-constructed case. It has some really good features and is a step in the right direction for case construction. The amount of fan possibilities is a nice touch and they are positioned in key areas and will be able to keep the...
