Apple's own Wireless Keyboard is one option, but you'll have to carry it separately from your iPad, as it isn't designed to attach to the tablet as with Archos' new 101 XS.
On a desk, the Solar Folio is a great keyboard, but it's not comfortable to use on your lap. Unlike Logitech's other keyboard case for the iPad, it does provide all-round protection. Although it's well made, the case has no clips to hold it closed. The...

Product Logitech Solar Keyboard Folio Website www.logitech.com Specifications For Apple Ipad 2 and new Ipad, rechargeable NiMh batteries charged by dye-sensitised solar cells, two-year battery life, Bluetooth 3.0, 65 keys, 428x253x17.8mm, 460g (without...
Great quality keyboard with good travel and typing experience
Fixed viewing angle is not ideal when not on flat surface
As a result, there aren't that many Ipad users around that don't pamper their Apple tablets with some sort of add-on such as a protective sleeve. At £500 a pop, it's not surprising that they want to keep their beloved poke-pads safe and sound

No charging cables required: Logitech's solar iPad case makes its own energy.
The ; charges using everyday light, has an excellent keyboard, and can automatically turn on and off and pair when the iPad's in range.
The outer case material feels flimsier then you'd expect for a $130 product, and the case feels too floppy to use for comfortable non-keyboarded iPad use.
Logitech's clever Solar Keyboard Folio hooks iPad users up with a quality typing experience on the go, no USB charger required: it really does work as advertised.

Having recently reviewed Logitech's excellent Ultrathin iPad keyboard case, I was very keen to also try the new solar-powered option. Rather than make a thicker version of the ultra thin just with a solar cells, Logitech designers have crafted a...
Never needs batteries ever, great key travel and feel, Good quality materials and smart on/off detection
Solar cells face away from light during most usage scenarios, case not rigid, pricey

Amazing product. I am very happy that I bought it. Allowed me to not buy a laptop for over a year. I used this to take notes in class, watch movies in the incline mode, and surf websites aka IT MAKES IT ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE A LAPTOP!
full keyboard, nice materials, not too bulky, never needs to charge the keyboard, I always get complements when I take it out to use it
expensive!

This is anexcellent choice if you are looking for a keyboard/case combination for your iPad. It is portable and easy to use. As soon as you take it out of the case it pairs to my iPad. Didn't have to do a thing. If you can afford this, get it!
-The keyboard is very easy to get used to. -The keys feel sturdy and very nicely spaced. -The space bar is is excellently sized. -The case feels very smooth and everything just wipes right off. -Never needs charged, never think about the battery.
Nothing to complain about so far.
