Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum Keyboard Review

We review the Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum, outfitted with the company's own Romer-G switches instead of the industry standard Cherry, plus full RGB lighting.

Romer-G switches are quieter than Cherry ; Beautiful lighting ; Dedicated media buttons and volume roller

Extra ping noise when typing ; Keys caps show too much finger-grease shine ; Romer-G stems not Cherry compatible

If you’re in for conservative looks but want some of the best backlighting you’ll find on a keyboard, consider the G810. You’ll either love or hate its relatively soft, lightweight, shallow-travel Romer-G switches.

Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum

Logitech's G810 Orion Spectrum is a low-key, high-quality, customizable gaming keyboard that's better suited to occasional players than serious gamers.

Customizable lighting and media controls, with programmable function keys. Comes with 300 preloaded game lighting profiles. Proprietary key switches and 26-key rollover enhance game performance. Software offers stat tracking.

Lack of dedicated macro keys and wrist rest may irk serious gamers. Switches sensitive for regular typing. Software tools can be confusing. Too pricey for casual gamers.

Conclusion If you're looking to buy a customizable, high-performance gaming keyboard that's unobtrusive yet stylish, then the Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum is worth considering. But it might be too minimalist in design and functionality for hard-core...

Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum Review — Keys to Success

The Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum is an attractive, versatile keyboard with a fantastic interface and sensible extra features.

The Logitech Orion Spectrum is a beautiful keyboard with a lot of smart features to suit a wide variety of gamers. The Romer-G keys are a love-it-or-tolerate-it proposition, and I have a few quibbles about the software and typing experience. Otherwise,...

Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum Review – Elegant, simple, and awesome

For the past 10 years, with a few exceptions, I've called the Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 my keyboard of choice. I've bought probably nine or 10 of them over the years, hammering through one every couple years thanks to hours and hours of daily typing....

It’s worth noting, too, that if you’re planning on picking up a keyboard in the near future and you’re interested in Tom Clancy’s The Division, right now this keyboard and the G910 both come with a free copy of that game. At $159.99 for the keyboard,...

Elegant and quiet!

"This is my first mechanical gaming keyboard, and it's surrisingly quiet to use! I have always stayed away from mechanical due to the sound of the keys, but these Roamer-G switches are quiet, and the 1.5mm actuation means they barely need pressing to...
