Plastic construction still lasts several years

I've had a pair of these in near constant use for at least 5 years or maybe 7; I really can't remember. One finally collapsed and I replaced it with a similar articulating design from 3M which costs at least half again as much with an all-metal...

Low cost; can adjust to "negative tilt" for better ergonomics. Pivots side-to-side. Bounces only a little... mostly in the mouse area

Bounces a little, but not much... mostly the mouse area. Key pieces of mechanism are plastic, making it less durable than some. Swinging mouse area not so brilliant... tends to flop around and small, especially if keyboard adjusted for negative tilt
