Iogear Wireless RF Keyboard/Optical Mouse Combo

Not a bad-looking wireless desktop set, but Iogear needs to put more effort into making it user-friendly.

Sharp, lightweight keyboard design; wireless; customizable function keys; convenient hot keys; runs on rechargeables; three-year warranty.

Cramped keyboard; sticky, unresponsive keys; mouse has poor battery life; interference issues.

Iogear's wireless keyboard and mouse caused us numerous headaches, relegating it to chintzy Logitech DiNovo-wannabe status.

Should be amazing, but for one thing.

Everybody who uses this, likes it. I have them on conference room computers, and one on a wireless workstaion thta can be rolled around on a card with a 42" LCD panel as the monitor. The charging issue is being worked around, I tell them to jiggle the...

This combo has the best range of anything else I have tested.I was only after I bought five of these that a problem surfaced. The keyboard is very slim, and light. It is good for casual use, but will not hold up to office work

The charging cradle for the mouse is flaky. You have to jiggle the mouse for more than a few seconds to get the charge light to come on. The charge light is green when charging and red when fully charged. I tried to explain to IOgear how backwards that...

Seemed goot at first

Bottom line, if you do anything more than light typing once in a while, stay away from this keyboard.

It does have a good solid weight to it that will keep it in your lap. It has multimedia keys which dont really add any size to the keyboard, and can be useful to those who want to use them

The keyboard frequently loses signal right in the middle of typing, so it wont recognize that you let off a key and will act like youre holding it down. (battery replacement and channel change do not help) ; Also when holding a key down, any key, my...

Great Inexpensive Keyboard/Mouse Set

This works great with Linux. I was up and running in 5 minutes using Kubuntu Hardy Heron Beta. It seems like it would work with other Linux distros as well.

Attractive, easy to use and install. Does everything it's supposed to do, and for a very reasonable price. I bought it to use with my Dell XPS m1330, and the paint jobs even match ; Set up is easy: just hold down the Connect button on the USB receiver,...

The only con that I've found is that you need to let the mouse charge for two hours before using it. That's not an actual con, it's just annoying

Works well

Overall it is a fantastic buy, I will definitely purchase this keyboard for my other pc. Well worth the money.

The keyboard works great. The range is great up to at least 15 feet. I dont know about the mouse, I probably wont be using it because I like the mouse I already have. The programmed hot keys work well with all my settings, a little on the initial...

The buttons are almost flush with the board so at first my fingers were mis-typing a little bit but you get used to it. The keys also are fairly quiet and I like to hear the typing

Overall, its ok

Overall an ok keyboard, but I'd keep looking if youre a fairly heavy typist.

The wireless works pretty good. I tested it from about 15 feet away, and it worked fine, without dropping any keystrokes or jumpy mouse movement (placement of the receiver is critical) ; The keyboard is very quiet, slim, and not made really bulky by...

I bought this solely for the keyboard, not caring about the mouse. The keyboard was a little dinged up upon arrival as there were spots on the keyboard where it looked like the paint had worn thin, but not really noticeable at just a glance ; The main...

Super Quiet

The long con list is full of minor trivialities, and overall this is a good keyboard/mouse combo.

Silent keyboard, and works well

The 'j' key stuck once, but I fixed that, the mouse charger doesn't fully charge the batteries and have to use a different battery charger, and the keyboard frequency interferes with the mouse sometimes or receives interference from somewhere and you...

The keyboard is very slim and quiet

The mouse worked fine for 3 days. Then, it just stopped. Batteries are fully charged and drivers were reinstalled but it still doesnt work
