No messing about just plug in and it connects. Easy Peasy. I have my laptop plugged into my tv at the other side of the room at least 20' away from the keyboard. Absolutely no problems at all.

Perhaps a tiny niggle. The keyboard is a little long to fit comfortably on your knees but if you are sitting at a desk or table it's no problem. It might be better if they moved the delete key a little further away from the enter key but that's just me...
