Enermax Caesar KB005U

The pricey but well-made Enermax Caesar KP005U is also quite possibly the most attractive keyboard we've reviewed. It won?t disappoint those looking for a high-quality, full-size keyboard.

Quality materials. Attractive design. Good tactile feedback. Has USB, audio ports

Pricey. Keyboard audio disables PC-attached speakers. No real wrist pad. No software for hotkeys

Caesar KB005U

The full-size Enermax Caesar KB005U keyboard justifies its relatively high price ($75 list) with high-end components. The stylish brushed aluminum body and steel-mesh surround hide fingerprints and are relatively easy to maintain, although you'll need...

Mostly Great

Like the durability and heavy duty nature. It's good. 3-4 eggs. It falls short of 5 due to the mentioned soundcard issue. The other stuff is preference.

Heavy duty. Nice key mechanism. If you like laptop style keyboards this is a nice one as the fell of this thing matches nicely

Not a huge fan of the rounded keys. Just felt a little weird ; Delete key is small. I'm not a fan of that kind of layout for a keyboard. Return key smaller and larger delete key next time please ; The one completely lame thing is the onboard soundcard....

Enermax Caesar keyboard

If you buy this one, make sure to pay the $9.99 for the 1 year warranty. I didn't, and it turns out I should have. For the amount I paid (over $62.00) I feel this keyboard should have lasted me at least a year with no problems. In my case, this wasn't...

Great feel, seemed stout enough, love the extra usb ports on each side and audio jacks at the rear. My typing improved immensely due to the tiny backspace key

Died at 8 months of service, just DOA, for no reason. Small backspace key, too wide to fit under my monitor stand. Not all peripherals are recognized by the keyboard usb ports

Pleasing to the eye.

overall great keyboard if you can find it at an alright price specially with rebate. Neweggs shipping was timely as always THANK YOU NEWEGG YOU ROCK!

Great keyboard if you can find it at a nice price awesome design headphone hole in the back and the extra USB are very useful. smooth cold hard metal around keys very nice seems high qaulity and pleasing to the eye. media keys on the left are great

Mesh gets stuff in it but nothing a gentle vaccum hose or upside down shaking cant solve but mesh is more of a choice to have before you buy i knew stuff would get in it does not bother me much. took an egg off because the reason i bought this keyboard...

Good keyboard bad rebate service

If I didn't have problem with my rebate, I would have rated this a 4 star. I followed the instruction precisely and after about 2 months of waiting, enermax sent me an email saying that my rebate was declined. Their reason is that I didn't include the...

Good keyboard, pretty solid all around

The mesh hand rest are so clunky and really easy to trap dirt, you will spend each weekend cleaning this thing ; Newegg is awesome for shipping this keyboard out to me fast but the rebate from enermax is a totally different experience, see other thought

good and bad

If you can ignore the audio port and don't mind cleaning the mesh this keyboard is really good and well worth the money. Another improvement that can be done with this board is some backlight.

Beautiful keyboard, good feel while type, solid construction and craftmanship. Media keys are awesome, making Media Center a wonderful experience ; USB, audio, mic port

Although it have audio port, the sound coming out of it are poor so stay way from using it ; The mesh part are quiet nice, it feel nice to the hand and look nice but a pain in the backside to clean. After about a week, the mesh already trapped a lot of...

Disappointed

I'm shocked at how many good reviews are here. This keyboard is painful to use and has serious problems with functionality. I'm returning it without a second thought. It's that bad.

It's pretty I suppose. Honestly that's about it. I had SERIOUS issues with this keyboard, which is sad because I really wanted to love it. But each passing day I owned it made me hate it more. Read on

Where do I begin? The mesh is borderline painful. The keys don't register half the time. The noise from the keys is inconsistent from key to key. The thing feels very cheap. It's a hassle to type on. Half the time you hit the space bar, it doesn't...

great keyboard overall

absolutely worth getting. great for gaming.

Great keyboard feel. Very durable steel. I mean, steel on a keyboard. 2 USB connectors (1 on each side). audio input (jacks only, not usb audio). media controls on the side ; scissor keys feel great in an actual keyboard, unlike how they feel on a...

usb audio + this keyboard = potential problems ; there also seems to be an issue with typing too fast. If you type on the letters and then the number rows above it, it appears the keyboard doesn't catch all your keystrokes (note: I type only like 90...
