save money - buy USB mouse

Lesson learned: save time and just go get the new parts for a new system if the old parts don't work rather than buying all kind of adapter and trying to make the old stuff work in a new environment. I also think that with mice and monitors it makes...

Aluratek AUPS100 USB to PS/2 Adapter

I used this to get my PS2 keyboard and usb & ps2 mouse to connect to my usb-only E-PC through an Inland 2-port KVM. It mostly works except the Win+Break combination. What impressed me though was connecting it to my Ebox 2300 through the KVM....

Works for unusual setups

More expensive than the rest, but still reasonable

Nice product

The two flawed cheap adapters I have must came from the same OEM manufacture or using the same chipset. Because their have the same symptom.

I've tried three USB to PS/2 adapters for my cherry keyboard. This is the only one that works flawlessly. Both of the other two cheap adapters often reset my keyboard (Numlock light flashs and the keyboard loses responce for ~1 sec) as mentioned by...

Aluratek AUPS100 USB to PS/2 Adapter

I bought this to hook an X-Arcade joystick up to a mac mini. It works flawlessly. In fact, it's even better than hooking the stick up via ps/2, back when I had those, since I no longer need to plug a keyboard into the stick (it's screwy...). I am pleased.

Recognized immediately under mac os x. Decent build quality
