I will never buy another Rowenta iron. Mine leaks when it works at all I bought the Precision because it had vertical stem...NOT. That feature has never worked, even when the iron was new.
Solid feel, stainless steel soleplate
Doesn't steam but leaks periodically

We registered for this as a wedding gift. I'm pretty picky about my ironing-- so I wanted a "good" iron.

We bought this product on Rowenta's reputation for German quality. The leaking was bearable, the semi-effectiveness of the self-cleaning feature was discouraging, but the failures of the steam function after 13 months and the heat element after 14...

I have just replaced my Tefal with this Rowenta and am very pleased. The heat is very good, the glide is smooth and the steam, and burst of steam are excellent. I love the separate temperature and steam controls.
Good heat, excellent steam and burst of steam

I am rating this iron after using it for like almost 2.5 years. The reason I chose Rowenta was that it looks better than any other iron out there, and also is German made.
German Made, Good Cord, Well Balanced
Price, Small Water Tank

This is our second Rowenta. The first one leaked and we sent it back. This one we have had for 2 years and I have had to put up with the leaking all over clothes ironing the wet spot until the iron dries it. You guessed it, it then leaks again after...
Nice glide over clothes, solid construction
Leaks, Leaks, Leaks, need I go on

For the longest time I was the one that did most of the ironing. My wife never understood why I would complain about the cheap hand me down irons my mother-inlaw would give us. Over the past couple of months, she started doing a lot of ironing each...
3-Way Auto Shut-Off, Burst of Steam, Easy-to-fill water reservoir

I've wanted a Rowenta iron for a long time....since I used my aunt's, but I wasn't willing to pay the high price for one. So, I've bought many cheaper irons and they usually last a year or two. After I tossed my last clogged, beaten and battered...
Lots of steam, easy glide, large water reservoir
Shut-off feature activates too quickly

"Don't waste your money or time. Absolute WORST iron we've ever owned. "Anti-Drip" is an unbelievable joke; leaks profusely. Only one month old. Spurts, crackles and LEAKS large amounts of water. GARBAGE!!
Looks nice in box
Money ill spent
