Philips GC8340/02 Steam Generator

Lighter than my prev iron (Swan) but good steam, smaller baseplate gets right into corners for shirts. Good price.

None so far but my girlfriend did have a similar philips model that stained badly on baseplate

ease of use, long power lead,light weigth

noisy, results dont justify extra cost over convential iron

Great steam pressure, compact for what it is. Really easy to use and love the steam lock function

Will probably have to replace trusty old ironing board due to weight and size of carrier. Also need to open window due to whole room steaming up.

shot of steam does not feel powerfull and there is no way of knowing that the iron is working at the stated 5 bar.

Makes ironing so easy, really good purchase, should have thought of it much earlier.
