Philips GC4525

This is my 4th Philips iron and my only disappointment is the mains cord, which at 2 meters is a bit on the short side. Also the steam generation isn't quite as controlled as my previous model, it's a bit on/off. I.e. you either have it or don't.

Usually Philips irons do it for me however this one was an utter disappointment, especially as I bought it for my daughter and her partner. I tried it out for them to check it lived up to expectations. It didn't steam at all unless the shot of steam...

Heats up quickly, very easy to use, excellent steam and gets rid of stubborn creases well. I like the shape and it's ease of handling. Just the right weight for me.

Delighted with this iron which is very easy to use, not too heavy and perfectly shaped for purpose.

Great delivery but when used the iron did not steam during normal use at all. Some steam produced when the extra steam button pressed but otherwise none. Hence returned. Seems it was broken.

This is a superb iron. It has a very good easy glide base and is good and effective at all heat settings. The steam is fast and effective and I'm able to crack through the ironing in no time at all. Bedsheets are a doddle now. I would highly recommend it.

Recommended by Which certainly does not disappoint. I can fully recommend this to anyone. Glides along the clothes and really good at removing even the most stubborn wrinkles.
