This iron looks ergonomic and under-intuitive, but it is not: it does not glide across fabrics any smoother than less-expensive irons and did not out-perform Black Decker D2020/D2030 and any of the Rowenta Series of Irons (especially the Advancer line).

I ordered this iron to replace a Rowenta that I had for years. I droped the Rowenta and the water would leak on the garments that I was ironing This iron is ok for the price but it does not beat a Rowenta.

Used for quick clothing touch-ups as well as pressing sewing projects. Lapsed time auto shut-off is helpful. A bit heavier than my previous iron, but easy to adapt to.
