Awesome

Use bottled or tap water for best results. Distilled or ultra-filtered makes a lot of irons(including this one) pop instead of providing steady steam. I also hear a lot less complaining on laundry days...

Disclaimer: This is all according to the wife. I have not personally used it. She loves it. Says it does not drip at all, heats up quick, and keeps a constant temp. Ironing a week or work clothes with the old $75 iron took her about an hour. This one,...

Great product!

My mom in Germany has this item and Rowenta is known as a really good brand for irons in Germany.

Solid construction, heavy as a iron should be, glides easily over fabric, big water tank, auto shut-off, Auto cleaning. After having several cheap irons from sunbeam, black&decker etc. I was finally fed up with this cheap products that leave stains on...

Over-Rated

Over-rated & over-priced. I bought into all the hype that this was a must have iron, that I would never mind ironing again. That the results would be better than any other iron. Nope. An iron seems to be an iron. While the design is nice, ergonomic and...

Does the basics and more

This iron performs its main jobs efficiently and pretty quickly. I love the auto-off feature, which has saved me a couple of times when I had to put the iron down to answer the phone quickly or I left the room and forgot about the iron (major oops!)....

This **Rowenta DZ5080 Iron with Auto Shut-off **gets hot quickly and saves you time ironing. This particular model has an awesome steam feature that really works, but beware, you chunnel through a lot of water quickly - but it is so worth it because...

I love Rowenta

Rowenta irons are built to last. I have had mine for 14 years. I have dropped it and it didn't break. It steams nicely, does a great job easily. I have used cheaper irons and they just don't compare. It's worth spending a little bit more on a good...
