We had this same iron for years and really loved it. When it began to malfunction, we decided to replace it with the same model iron. Unfortunately, this iron spits hot water whenever it's put into the standing position. Very disappointing.

Does a great job of pumping the required steam to get rid of creases. Definitely a good bargain for now. Only used it for a few weeks so can't comment on it's durability - hence, 4 stars!

We have been using this steamer for a few weeks, and it works well to complete small steaming jobs. I do prefer this over using an iron, it is easy to use when you hang up your clothing item and steam it, plus you don't have to drag out the ironing...

I purchased the iron just over a week ago. The steam is very poor and is not worth any rating. I paid quite a lot of money for an iron that doesn't iron as i should. High powered steam it doesn't have!!!

We have had the product for 2 years. Despite the reviews by Consumer Reports and those here, I cannot recommend this iron. It constantly spits, sputters, and leaks water on to cloths. My old Black Decker never leaked or spit constantly!

basic and good, nothing fancy but a good old fashioned steam iron. Easy to understand instructions, not too heavy, and not PINK. Why do manufacturers think people want a pink iron.

This is a good cover for light ironing. The pad is built right into the piece. When you need a new cover, just turn the old one over and use it underneath for a double pad.

My iron broke down and I had to get a need one. This one the price was fair. Only down side you have to press a button for the steam everytime and the wire is to short.

I needed to purchase a new iron, And decided to purchase this swan steam generator iron. I am generally very very pleased with the product, it performs well producing plenty of steam and can easily cope with one large pile of ironing on one tank of water.
