Sharp's HT-DV40H is a home theatre system that delivers good DVD playback and sound quality, but users looking for surround sound will be disappointed.

Excellent build quality.. very good speakers and an excellent aesthetically pleasing look. Easy colour coded connectivity.. (idiot-proof) Well laid out instruction manual. Recommended to all as an overall package.

Some potential confusion with the amount of sound preference and choices. The remote control has to have a dual button push in certain functionality requirements, could be confusing to some and quite awkward.

too much trouble to get from radio to tv, you have to press aux 3 times, there is no one touch to get from anything to tv. I also bought a sharp tv at same time. The usb does not play films, whats the point, I have had better systems over the years.
