Design The SurroundBar 360 aims for simplicity in design and setup, and--thanks to a straightforward two-piece design--largely achieves that. The speakerbar portion is 4.5 inches tall by 64 inches wide by 5 inches deep. Externally, it looks similar to...
Single-speaker home theater system; includes built-in DVD player; inputs for additional external AV components; easy setup; superior sound quality; strong-enough bass that most listeners won't need a subwoofer.
Limited number of AV inputs; built-in Blu-ray player or HDMI inputs would've been an ideal upgrade.
The Polk Audio SurroundBar 360 DVD Theater delivers excellent sound from a single speaker bar, with the lack of built-in Blu-ray being the real sticking point.

Still, after we disconnected the sub, the SurroundBar 360 DVD Theatre's sound didn't disappoint. Add a subwoofer only if you're a serious bass hound. Otherwise you'll probably be fine without one — a major boon to anyone who's looking for the most...

This soundbar is more of a complete DVD home theater system wrapped around the form of a traditional soundbar. At $899, the Polk SurroundBar 360 is a pretty affordable way to get good sound from today's HDTVs without breaking the bank....
At this price point, an HDMI cable should be included. However, my biggest gripe with the SurroundBar 360 is the lack of a component or HDMI video input. Your only options are composite and S-video, which is lovely if grandma wants her VCR connected,...
I've really had a lot of fun with the SurroundBar360 DVD Theater, which speaks volumes. Home theater is about recreating the movie theater experience; it's also about escapism. The better the picture and sound, the more fun you're going to have. Polk...

Bar-type speaker systems like the Polk SurroundBar 360˚ are a logical response to the flat-paneling of modern homes. The form factor of a single horizontal speaker makes sense to use below the bottom edge of a flat screen (or perched atop a rear...
Consumer review (newegg.com)
had this about a month now. things that i like,...the single speaker does a very good job with stereo sources. if you listen to 5.1 dts audio, you'll find the amplifier is much better for some reason,...plays louder than with a typical dvd. i stream...

Consumer review (newegg.com)
Newegg stood behind their return policy and did the right thing as always.
Newegg's excellent customer service
First of all Polk Audio has the worst customer service ever!!! The remote control that is supplied with the unit will not work with any of your newer devices. Unit also makes a popping noise when switching devices. None of their remote codes would work...
