Forgive the LX01 its standard definition trespasses, and this is one (as Burt Ward might have said at his peak) holy terror of a sound system, Batman. Match it up with a Kuro plasma and you’ll have the perfect AV experience – for this year, at least....

Well built, looks great and even better sounds good. The range of features are the best, allowing a true one box solution at high quality. DVD upscaling to 1080p is good too. Pity all the features in the LX01 are not in the BD version.

Manual is poorly written and in 2 parts, which makes setting up and operation difficult. I still have not mastered the recording functions. Only other thing is Pioneer should include all the features in the BD version.

All around system with many features. Great sound and vision.

It has a long learning curve, a little bit complicated at first, because it is packed with so many features.
