Is there more to Sony's latest entry-level Blu-ray system than meets the eye?
3D capable, Fast disc loading, Good audio and video quality
Lacklustre looks, Need to purchase optional extras for full functionality

Best Blu-ray System up to £500, Award 2010. It's a safe bet to say this Sony all-in-one will sell by the metric tonne
Full to bursting with features ; superb sound and video performance for the money
HDMI inputs would be handy ; no on-screen iPod control
Best Blu-ray System up to £500, Award 2010. We’re all about performance-per-pound quality – and this stunning Sony delivers

Sony's entry-level Blu-ray system takes all the best bits from the superb BDP-S370 Blu-ray player, fuses them with an AV receiver and chucks them in a box with a set of 5.1 channel speakers - a convenient and cost-effective way of getting a complete...
Picture quality, 3D support, networking features, ease of use
Main unit design, expensive Wi-Fi dongle, boomy subwoofer
The BDV-E370 deserves praise for its wealth of features, 3D support and excellent picture performance, all of which can be yours for a surprisingly reasonable price. On the downside, the subwoofer doesn't live up to the quality of the other speakers...

With all the fuss about 3D right now, you'd think everyone had finished tweaking their home cinemas to perfection, and were ready for the next enhancement to complement their perfect set-up. But that's not the case, and it seems people are still opting...
3D and surround sound in one package; not a bad price if you shop around; great picture; clear sound.
Not all that loud; a little ugly; wireless rear speakers require optional module.
The Sony BDV-E370 is not a bad piece of kit if you can get it for closer to £300 than £500. 3D is a great bonus and we did like most of the features of this home cinema system. Sound wasn't perfect but, for smaller rooms, it's pretty reasonable.

Sony's entry-level Blu-ray system offers good performance for your buck, as well lots of upgradability – including 3D playback
A highly capable, 3D-ready Blu-ray home cinema system with a very tempting price tag, if you don't mind missing out on the optional extras

A fine entry-level 3D Blu-ray system. Sound isn’t perfect, and you’ll find more features on certain rivals – but video performance is fantastic. Sony BDV-E370 is tagged with Sony BVD-E370, Blu-Ray and audio. Select a tag (Sony BVD-E370, for example) to...

The Sony BDV-E370 is an affordable all-in-one Blu-ray home cinema system with a 5.1 surround sound speaker array, 3D Blu-ray compatibility, Ethernet networking for Bravia Internet Video and DLNA media streaming and “Made for iPod” USB ports. The good...

Aside from that, the BDV-E370's feature list is every bit as impressive as its three rivals. You can stream music, videos and TV programmes (from Demand Five, BBC iPlayer, YouTube and more) using Sony's BRAVIA Internet Video feature, or access files on...
