TDK ST800 review

If you can remember when Duran Duran owned Top Of The Pops and every other tape sold was a TDK, then you'll feel a pang of nostalgia at TDK's return with a line of outrageous Boomboxes and these slick headphones.

TDK ST-800 Headphones Review

TDK ST-800 Reviewed The TDK ST-800 looks very stylish with its leather and metal finish. This headphone comes with two unique and interesting features; the first is the volume knob on the right ear cup and second is the little EQ remote halfway down...

TDK ST-800

The look may give the TDK ST-800 a dated look but the tech inside is state-of-the art. If you like your music to speak volumes but not necessary at volume then you'll love the spacious mid-tones and rounded bass these headphones have to offer.

Music, gaming, movie enthusiasts today demand the best possible audio performance from their gear, and the gear they often turn to are headphones. The growing enthusiasm and the number of brands entering the market to fill this void is clear. All the...

The ST-800 doesn’t succeed at knocking any reputed headphones models off their thrones. However, it is a very good attempt by TDK. When it comes to build quality, some of the high-end headphones manufacturers could learn a thing or two from TDK. When...

TDK ST800 Review

A nice looking and comfortable headphone with a distinctly coloured sound signature. There's nothing exceptionally bad about it if you like that mellow somewhat over-processed tone. But if you're looking for a neutral aural experience, look elsewhere.

TDK ST-800

The ST-800s make for the perfect, stylish lounge-room companion for kicking back and watching your favourite flick in solitude – though a few pitfalls make this enticing budget-buy take on the pro-audio headset a little less appealing.

Great sound quality; cheaper than most high-end headphones

Too bulky for portable music; poor battery life with AAA batteries

TDK ST800 review

Usually you get what you pay for, but in this case, I wasn't impressed. BTW, these are not Noise Cancelling headphones. But since they go around your ears (cupping over them), and being closed back headphones, they would be considered Noise Isolating...

Good bass, fair clarity, expensive looking packaging, 4 foot extension cord, velvet-like bag for storage, 1/4" adapter, small microfiber cloth to clean, unique booster/equalizer box connected inline with the cable. Muffles outside noise. You can adjust...

These headphones are heavy! Initially they seemed fine when I put them on, but as you keep them on, you feel its weight. And your ears feel warm-hot after about 20-30 mins. To use the volume control, you have to turn on the signal booster/equalizer. I...
