Want some 2.1 speakers that'll also light up your gaming space? The Steelseries Arena 7 are more than a pretty face
Excellent sound tuned for gaming ; Colourful and bright RGB lighting ; Bluetooth very convenient
Subwoofer can be overpowering ; Expensive for a 2.1 system ; Power switch being on the sub is inconvenient
Compact and powerful speakers that deliver surprisingly well-balanced audio, with RGB lighting that’ll slot perfectly into any gaming setup.

A few weeks ago we reviewed SteelSeries' flagship mouse, the Rival 700, but today our attention turn SteelSeries' flagship headset – it's wireless, has virtual 7.1 and costs £129.95. Worth it?
My ears pressed against the drivers when in use which was very uncomfortable.
I would love to whole-heartedly recommend the Arctis 7 – and though it is still likely to do the job for many people out there, due to my issues with its comfort, and despite all the things I like about it, I just couldn’t use it for any prolonged...

SteelSeries has released its new Arctis range of headsets; we look at the wireless Arctis 7.
This is an expensive headset, but there's certainly a lot to like. The quality of the materials is immediately apparent, as the plastic is rigid and doesn't feel brittle, and the aluminium has a really nice finish too. The Arctis 7 is also one of the...

The Arctis 7 is SteelSeries' latest wireless gaming headset, featuring DTS Headphone X, lag-free audio up to 12m, and the clear-cast microphone, will this tempt you to lose the cables?

Not-a-one
Well there we have it the Arctis 7 brought to us by SteelSeries. So I told you I would reveal my opinion and here it goes. The slight loss in quality is very minimal due to these being wireless. The headset still sounds great when compared to the wired...

Sleek, lightweight design ; Flexible, collapsible, crystal-clear mic ; Excellent sound quality ; DTS Headphone:X virtual surround ; Works with any gaming system
Software and virtual 7.1 only available on PC
This Arctic 7 is by far the best choice for wireless PC headsets, and one of the best overall gaming headsets, period. While using it on a console narrows its functionality, it still outperforms most console headsets, while its comfort, style, and...

SteelSeries improves on the floating headband and also makes a play for the "affordable wireless" market with its latest Arctis 7 line.
Comfortable, sleek, and stylish ; Very inexpensive for wireless audio ; Built-in chatmix controls
Headset might not fit the largest of large heads ; Mute button is a bit too small and inconspicuous ; Audio quality is solidly middle-of-the-road

The SteelSeries Arctis 7 2019 Edition Wireless are gaming headphones with a long 25-hour battery life. They're the next generation of the SteelSeries Arctis 7 Wi...
Comfortable and stable. Great mic performance even in noisy environments. Great companion software with many customization options. Excellent continuous battery life.
May be less comfortable for people with bigger ears or heads. Not extremely breathable. Slightly bulky design. Inconsistent audio delivery. Poor noise isolation performance. High non-Bluetooth audio latency.
The SteelSeries Arctis 7 are decent for neutral sound. Their bass and treble delivery depend on their fit, seal, and positioning on your head. It's possible to get closer to a more neutral sound profile if you take the time to adjust their headband a...

Great companion software with graphic EQ and presets. Low latency for wireless gaming and video streaming. Impressive retractable microphone. Well-built, durable design.
Bass and treble delivery varies significantly across users. Sensitive to glasses. Can have a tight fit for some users. Poor noise isolation.
The SteelSeries Arctis 7 Wireless 2017 are okay for mixed usage. While they're comfortable and their boom microphone is retractable, they aren't suited for commuting or offices as they barely reduce background noise and they don't support Bluetooth....
