Sony ULT Wear Review

More affordable than usual, bassier than seems reasonable…

(Very) assertive sound ; Good specification and feature-set ; Predictably well-made and -finished

Horribly ill-balanced sound (at best) ; Short of subtlety, insight and poise ; Can be bettered by more affordable Sony alternatives

One of the most straightforwardly strange products I’ve tested in a long time, the Sony ULT Wear seem to have everything going for them – and then they start to make a sound…

Sony ULT Wear review

Sony breaks from its winning wireless formula… with mixed results

Forceful, full-bodied sound presentation ; Stacked with features ; Comfy and typically well-made

Sound lacks subtlety, nuance and balance ; Bass-boosted profiles sound ridiculously overbearing ; Sonically outperformed by the cheaper WH-CH720N

The ULT Wear may appeal to anyone wanting big sound and plenty of features without spending flagship money, but they sacrifice Sony’s signature sense of refinement and balance in the pursuit of excessive lower-end punch

Bass feature can be overwhelming ; Call quality inconsistent ; Some setup required to find best sound

The Sony ULT Wear enters into a much-overlooked headphones price range and delivers a solid overall experience, with good sound quality, plenty of features and a sturdy design. But inconsistent call quality, an over-zealous bass feature and a...

Sony ULT Wear wireless headphones review: Bassy mid-range headphones with flagship features

Can't quite stretch your budget to Sony's flagship WH-1000XM5? You'll want to check out the new ULT Wear headphones. #sony #ult #wirelessheadphones

Decent ANC ; Deep full bass ; ULT mode a treat for bass lovers ; Great battery life ; Support for multipoint connection

Plastic build ; Ambient mode sounds digitised ; Distortion at high bass levels ; No USB-C wired listening

The TL;DR version: The Sony ULT Wear is a Bluetooth wireless headphone that packs flagship-quality features, good sound, and great bass at a price that's hard to ignore. Note : You can find the Sony ULT Wear on Amazon , Lazada , Shopee , and the...

Sony ULT Wear Headphones Review: Midrange Maestro With Extra Bass

The successor to Sony's Extra Bass WH-XB910N headphones, the $200 ULT Wear have a simplified name and some key upgrades, including better sound quality and noise-canceling performance.
