Sennheiser's finest true wireless yet
Rich, clear and detailed performance ; Comfortable fit ; Feature-laden customisable app ; Impressive noise-cancellation ; Excellent wireless performance
Not the best ANC ; Call quality could be better
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 are one of the best all-round true wireless, up there with the likes of Sony and Bose as the best premium options. The fit is comfortable, they sound great, the noise-cancellation impresses and the app is packed...

An excellent pair of wireless headphones that deliver a balanced, neutral presentation, long battery life and very good noise cancellation
Great comfort ; Clear, musical audio ; Very good noise cancellation ; Massive battery life ; Excellent wireless performance
Functional look ; Not the best ANC at this price ; Beaten for call quality
An excellent pair of wireless headphones that deliver a balanced, neutral presentation, long battery life and very good noise cancellation. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless all-round performance is excellent though the Sony WH-1000XM5 are better in...

Same old supreme Sennheiser sound in a great-value package
Clean, neutral, musical sound ; 60-hour battery life ; Effective ANC ; Wired listening doesn’t require battery
Drops predecessors’ classy aesthetic ; Up against tough competition
Only the strongest film franchises tend to get a fourth go and, like Toy Story 4, the Momentum 4 Wireless have dutifully honoured the legacy of those that came before it – sonically and feature-wise, if not aesthetically. We are disappointed to see the...

Premium wireless earbuds take the fight to Apple, Bose and Sony
Refined presentation is easy to listen to ; Rich, detailed and dynamic sound ; Comfortable fit ; Responsive controls
Noise cancelling can be bettered… ; And so can call quality ; Some might prefer a more neutral sound
Watch out Sony and Bose! The Momentum True Wireless 4 offer a level of sonic refinement and comfort that makes them a serious contender at this level

Sennheiser makes welcome tweaks to its flagship earbuds
Excellent sound ; Still-great design ; Improved connectivity and battery life
Active noise-cancelling (ANC) isn't jaw-dropping ; A lot of changes aren't obvious
With judicious tweaks and some welcome additions, Sennheiser has improved on an already good product, making the Momentum True Wireless 4 better than their predecessors in every way.

A top contender in a fierce market
Excellent sound quality ; Plenty of features ; Strong battery life
Noise-canceling isn't anything special ; Call quality and customization could be better ; No spatial audio
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4's superb sound quality, stacked feature list and solid design make it a top choice in a closely fought market. It's not best-in-class for ANC or call quality, but what it does, it does very well.

Sennheiser's fourth-generation cans shine sonically, despite their plain looks
Neutral, crisp, detailed sound ; Excellent ANC and transparency ; Incredible battery life even with ANC deployed
A little plain aesthetically ; Design doesn't fold up into the headband
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless are a seriously good set of wireless over-ear headphones, offering excellent active noise-cancellation, a suite of impressive features plus excellent sound and call quality. They’re also light and comfortable – and...

The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones are a big improvement on their predecessors
Energetic, powerful sound ; Adaptive ANC ; 60 hours of battery, fast charging
Not great for exercise ; EQ control could be more extensive
If you want effective noise cancelling headphones then take a look at the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless. Not only do they cut the world out almost entirely but they sound fantastic and the battery lasts for ages, there's barely any bad to say.

The redesigned Momentum 4 might be a little less unique, but there's a lot to like here.
More modern design ; Nice and comfortable ; Great balanced sound ; Very impressive battery life
Less unique design ; Touch controls a little hair-trigger
We're big fans of the trick Sennheiser has pulled with the Momentum 4, bumping up its features but cutting down the price - albeit to a still pricey level. They're fabulous headphones for those who want excellent, balanced sound with solid ANC and...

They look familiar, but the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 sounds even better than ever. They're a subtle yet welcome upgrade.
Positive, detailed and spacious sound ; Impressive specification ; Properly built and finished
No spatial audio capability ; Not the most dynamic sound ; Plenty of decent rivals
They may not look like it, but the Momentum True Wireless 4 are a definite upgrade on the model they replace
