Sennheiser HD650 review

A sound quality that loudspeakers can only dream about!

Impressive levels of detail and clarity ; Great value for money

Some coloration in the trebel

Sound is particularly clear and detailed, with very natural tonality through bass and midrange and just a little coloration in the treble. Comfort is excellent too, making this model excellent value for money

Sennheiser HD 650 review

First things first. Do not be deceived by the 3.5mm jack adaptor – these are not headphones you want to plug into your iPod. They're just too good. You need an amp to tease the most out of the HD-650s, and preferably a lossless audio source. Ideally it...

Sennheiser HD 650 review

Sennheiser HD 650

Sennheiser's flagship headphones have high-tech styling, extraordinary bass response, and an extremely comfortable design.

They're heavy and very pricey, not to mention ill suited for use with the iPod.

The formidable Sennheiser HD 650 headphones are fit for a king--and have a price tag to prove it.

Sennheiser HD 650

You can tell these hardy Sennheiser veterans mean business. Metal construction gives a vice-like fit on your dome and speaks of their ineffably high-end sonics. You'll need an adaptor to plug them into an iPod; these are built to be part of a nice...

The HD 650s sound mighty fine. In fact they sound better than that. They’re as mellifluous as the hypnotic pipes of Pan himself; they’re the aural equivalent of wagyu beef. If you’re in the market for a pair of headphones that cost around £300, you...

Sennheiser HD 650

We've strayed to the top end of Audiophile land and encountered something quite special. The HD650 headphones from Sennheiser managed to reveal new elements of tracks we'd listened too hundreds of times and that quite some feat!

Sennheiser HD 650

Sealing: Open, Noise-canceling: None, Type: Circumaural, Impedance: 300 ohms

Warm, natural, detailed sound. Very comfortable. Sturdy construction. Replaceable cables.

Expensive.

The Sennheiser HD 650 headphones have everything you want in full-size audiophile headphones.

Sennheiser HD650 Review

We look at one of the best headphones out there!

The Sennheiser HD650 truly offers an incredible experience and once you listen to it for a while, there’s little doubt left as to why they are so popular. The Sennheiser HD650 are pricey, without a doubt and they’re not value-for-money, either. Here in...

Sennheiser HD 650 HEADPHONES

The Sennheiser HD 650 deliver an excellent and open sound that's great for critical listening. They're comfortable and decently built but unfortunately, like most open critical listening headphones, they won't be suitable for more casual uses. They do...

Great audio reproduction. ; Above-average soundstage. ; Comfortable and stable design.

Open-back design, so they leak a lot. ; Poor noise isolation, by design.
