Philips Fidelio M1BT

Wireless headphones that are heavy on style

Sleek, stylish design ; Excellent battery life ; Minimal drain on phone battery

Sound doesn't blow you away ; Music cuts out over Bluetooth ; Expensive

In a case of style over substance, the Philips M1BT Bluetooth headphones suffer from wireless issues issues and their sound quality doesn't make up for it.

Sub-£200 on-ear headphones to rival the B&W P3.

Look good, Feel good, Strong sound isolation

Treble doesn’t sparkle, Bass can be unruly

Philips Fidelio M1BT review

Solid Bluetooth headphones that lack the premium touch

Not too bulky ; Packed with features ; Good sound quality

Patchy build quality ; Not a great package

These headphones have been received in many places with rapture, but that's misplaced. They are very good, and if the styling appeals to you more than the gargantuan (but much nicer-sounding) Logitech UE 9000s, they're definitely at least worth...

Philips Fidelio M1 review

Philips's new premium headphones look and feel superb

Great looks ; Great feel ; Good sound ; In-line clicker

Bass a little unruly ; No fold-down ; Just a basic pouch

So there you go. Seven hundred words to confirm what we imagine you assumed from the start; these are good headphones that look and feel great.

Philips Fidelio M1

Best portable on-ears £100-£200, Awards 2012. Never tiring, always pleasant, maybe a little restrained

Smooth, even tonal balance ; weighty bass ; comfy to wear ; lovely design

Bass could be a little more detailed ; slightly restrained presentation

Philips Fidelio M1: Sound quality It’s a rounded, somewhat refined presentation. Vocals are given room to breathe, while high-frequency sounds are natural and don’t harden up when you crank the volume.

Philips Fidelio M1 Black

However, due to its size, the L1 model isn't suited to mobile use, whereas the step-down M1 -- true to the "M" in its name -- is.

The Philips Fidelio M1s offer clear, natural sound and a very comfortable fit for on-ear headphones. They also fold flat, have an attractive design, and have an inline one-button remote/microphone for making cell phone calls. A protective carrying...

Sound comes across a little recessed.

While they fall short of delivering truly excellent sound, the well-designed Philips Fidelio M1 on-ear headphones are comfortable to wear and well-suited for day-to-day use.
