Nothing Ear (open) review: pretty good, with the right expectations

The Nothing Ear (open) is a completely open-ear bud, which allows you to hear the outside world clearly, while still enjoying quality sound privately.

Surprisingly good sound at average volume ; Advanced EQ ; Pinch controls are good ; Long battery life (8 hours on the buds) ; Light and comfortable

Case is a bit bulky ; Sound gets bitey at 60%+ volume ; Mic quality isn't great

I replaced my Bose with the Nothing Ear Open - and that was a sound decision

With their lightweight fit and great sound, the $149 Nothing Ear Open earbuds have quickly become my favorite for exercise.

In truth, I can't think of one bad thing about the Nothing Ear Open , especially considering the $150 price point. The quality of these open earbuds exceeds the asking price by a couple of miles. I'd recommend these to active people who are in the...

Nothing Ear Open Review

I could wear the Nothing Ear (Open) buds all day for podcasts and taking calls, but for enjoying music, I'd pick something else.

Very comfortable to wear for extended periods ; Easily navigable onboard volume controls ; Battery lasts a week ; Endures light water splashes well ; Can connect to two devices simultaneously

Pinch button is inconvenient to use ; Loose fit ; Average sound due to the poor fit and sound leakage

Nothing Ear (Open) Since they're so comfortable, it's a bummer their loose fit leads to extensive audio leakage and, consequently, underwhelming sound. I developed a weird love-hate relationship with the Nothing Ear (Open). They’re so light and...

The Nothing Ear Open earbuds are my first choice for second place

Good audio, long battery life, no sound isolation

Generally good audio quality ; Eight-hour battery life ; Comfortable enough to wear all day

Easy to nudge out of place ; Audio quality suffers at high volumes ; No wireless charging
