Marshall Minor III

  (Rating Hidden)

The Marshall Minor III are truly wireless earbuds with the brand's highly distinctive styling, taking cues from its famous guitar amps. But can these wireless earbuds stand out from the crowd where it really matters – delivering excellent sound...

Marshall Minor III review

Bright sound, very limited functionality

Bright, clean sound ; Excellent touch controls ; Sleek long-stem design ; Surprisingly good call quality

Lacks extra features and digital assistance ; Unreliable fit and comfort ; Same battery life as the AirPods ; Unmerited price

Review: Marshall Minor III True Wireless Earbuds - Review: Marshall Minor III True Wireless Earbuds

The first striking thing about Marshall's entry-level Minor III true wireless open fit earbuds is the cool wireless charging case. Instantly reminding you of an iconic Marshall amp with its faux leather exterior, this is set to be a hit with guitar...

They look a treat, with the famous Marshall logo and faux leather charging case. ; They sound great, especially for guitars, though they don’t skimp on audio quality for more bass-heavy hip-hop styles.

They don’t feel very suited to my ears and I spend a lot of time having to push them back further in, which cuts the sound off. ; There’s no app linked to them.

These really pack a punch where it counts – in the sound department. For that, I’m willing to overlook the way they’re not tailored exclusively to my ears.

Marshall Minor III review: Brighter sound comes with missing parts

For Marshall, the Minor III are pared-down wireless earbuds when you don't want to pay more for one of the brand's pricier options. However, by stripping a lot out of them, they don't quite measure up to their sticker price.

Bright, crisp sound ; Lightweight build ; Slick design ; Effective touch controls ; Solid call quality

Open-fit design muffles bass ; No ANC or ambient mode ; Mediocre battery life ; No app support ; Too pricey for what you get

It's hard not to like how cool Marshall's Minor III look, but they don't always feel like they fit quite right. In fact, that open-fit design can actually hide the best sound quality that these earbuds are capable of pumping out.
