JBL Live 660NC Wireless Review

The JBL Live 660NC Wireless are over-ear headphones with active noise cancelling (ANC). Out-of-the-box, they have a slightly bass-heavy sound profile, but if you...

ANC can reduce mid to treble-range noise. Parametric EQ and presets available. Stable and decently comfortable fit.

Can make your ears warm over time. Poor passive soundstage. Mediocre noise handling. ANC struggles to cut down bass-range noise. Can only receive audio with their TRS to TRRS cable.

The JBL Live 660NC are decent for neutral sound. Out-of-the-box, they have a slightly bass-heavy sound profile with a touch of extra thump and punch. That said, you can customize their sound using their companion app's parametric EQ or presets if you...

JBL Live 660NC review

At $199, the JBL Live 660NC undercuts the competition with strong audio, noise cancellation, and battery life, but is also painful to wear.

Bass-forward sound ; Longer battery life than most premium noise-cancelling models ; Effective noise cancellation ; Excellent connectivity ; Numerous features via companion app

Very uncomfortable ; Buggy voice assistance ; Highs don’t shine

Nonetheless, the Live 660NC has so much going for it that a lot of $200 headphones simply don’t, which makes them an inexpensive standout.
