HyperX Cloud Alpha

One of the best gaming headsets available. HyperX Cloud Alpha.

Class leading audio ; Fantastic build quality ; Top notch microphone ; Extremely comfortable

Audio quality is DAC dependant ; No surround sound ; Only one colour choice ; Spare earpads aren't included

The best analogue gaming headset you can buy under £100

HyperX Cloud Alpha review

Solid stereo sound tuned specifically for PC gaming

Improved looks and comfort ; Defined mid-tones ; Booming bass

Muddled lows

HyperX’s new mid-range gaming headset feels perfectly tuned for PC gaming to its benefit – and its detriment.

HyperX Cloud Alpha review: Affordable all-rounder

If you've been looking for a comfortable wired gaming headset with some passive noise cancellation, then the HyperX Cloud Alpha might be appealing.

Large and comfortable earcups ; Lightweight fit ; Decent microphone ; Pleasant audio range ; Works across multiple platforms

Mic is compressed ; Earcups could be deeper ; Earcups might make your ears hot

If you're on the lookout for a comfortable wired gaming headset with some passive noise cancellation, the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wired is a really attractive option with very few downsides.

HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless review: Leading the charge

This HyperX headset promises 300-hour battery life and support for PC and PlayStation. How does it compare to the top gaming headsets?

Unbelievable battery life ; Super comfortable ; Great sound

No Bluetooth or wired connection ; NGenuity is glitchy ; Cross-compatibility is limited

HyperX has made a real stormer in the form of the Cloud Alpha Wireless - a headset that sounds wonderful and features battery life that shouldn't be possible. It's also fairly priced, in our view, making it one of the best headsets we've tested.

Dual-chamber audio, an affordable price and comfortable earmuffs? HyperX's Cloud Alpha is a nifty deal.

Kingston HyperX Cloud Alpha Headset Review: Near-Perfect At $100

Kingston HyperX Cloud Alpha is intended to round out the company's portfolio with a higher-end headset offering priced at $100. Similar to Logitech's G Pro, this headset employs something called dual-chamber technology. In short, it places the drivers...

Although we don't expect perfection from a $100 gaming headset, the HyperX Cloud Alpha's sound quality comes close. Moreover, Kingston uses reasonably high-quality materials put together in a solid way. Our award is well-deserved.

HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Review

Powerful, crisp sound ; Excellent mic ; DTS Headphone:X simulated surround works well

Primarily for PC, with no wired connections ; Scooped sound signature requires using EQ presets to get the best performance

The HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless is an excellent wireless gaming headset. It excels where it counts, in audio quality, but don't try to use it with anything besides a PC.
