Even if you don't get on with Gemini Live, the noise cancelling in Google's second-gen Buds Pro is really impressive
Excellent noise cancellation (ANC) ; Strong performance for the size ; Seamless Google integration ; Great battery life
Not sold on the stabiliser ; Lacks hi-res codec support ; Gemini Live not that useful ; Delay when answering calls
The Google Pixel buds Pro 2 refine the offering of Google's previous earbuds with a more compact body and lighter weight, while extending the battery life and improving the active noise-cancellation (ANC. The sound from these earbuds is great too, but...

Google's new pro buds are tiny and cute, but they might be a pain in your ears
Great noise canceling and transparency modes ; Alright sound, if a bit soft and wooly ; Brilliant battery life
Smaller size means an awkward fit for some users ; Price tag is close to superior options
The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 offers decent sound quality, improved noise cancellation, a great transparency mode and a much smaller frame, but unfortunately many of the improvements are overshadowed by awkward market placement and design issues. The...

Despite their excellent design, there are better wireless earbud options than Google's Pixel Buds Pro 2 out there.
Comfortable design (for me) ; Gemini integration is impressive ; Great noise-cancellation
Sound quality isn't great ; There are better wireless earbuds out there ; Some may find the winged design uncomfortable
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are the first earbuds to be built on the Tensor A1 chipset. The earbuds support Google AI, paired with ANC and Silent Seal 2.0 technology for improved noise cancellation.

Comfortable, compact, and really rather clever - the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 improve in all the right areas
Some of the most comfortable and secure-fitting earbuds around ; Engaging audio and competitive noise cancelling ; Longer-lasting battery
Limited Bluetooth codec support ; Find My Device support can be flakey ; Still not the last word in sound quality or ANC for the money
You don’t need a Pixel phone to appreciate Google’s new earphones. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are wonderfully comfortable, fully-featured, and sound great – while staying competitive on price.

Upgrades across the board, in a smaller, lighter package - the Pixel Buds Pro 2 promise audio excellence for Android owners

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are Google's answer to Apple's AirPod Pro 2 headphones. They have active noise cancelling and spatial sound but also give you built-in access to Google's Gemini AI assistant. Can Google's premium wireless headphones outsmart Apple,...

Google's latest earbuds are astonishingly small and light, yet offer better ANC and sound quality than the first-gen Pixel Buds Pro.
Incredibly light and comfy ; Stellar noise canceling ; Great sound quality ; Fun Google Gemini integration
No hi-res codecs ; Limited spatial audio
“You'll be surprised how much of an upgrade gets packed into a smaller package.”

These excellent noise-canceling wireless earbuds are especially great for small ears.
Small and comfortable. Excellent noise canceling. Good battery life. Work perfectly with Android. Wireless charging and USB-C.
Case could be smaller. Expensive. Gemini AI isn't super interesting or useful.

With a tight seal, Google's redesigned Pixel Buds Pro 2 sounds great and offers improved noise-canceling performance. While they cost more, they're a tempting upgrade for Pixel owners.
Smaller design ; Improved sound and noise-canceling ; New, more powerful Tensor A1 chip ; Excellent battery life ; Good voice-calling performance ; Hands-free Google Assistant for Android users ; Spatial audio
Ear tips may not allow some people to get a tight seal ; No support for AptX or LDAC audio codecs for Android users ; A few features not available for Apple users

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 offer strong sound quality and solid noise cancellation in a comfortable design, along with Google Gemini support and seamless integration with Pixel phones.
