The Google Pixel Buds A-Series are solid true wireless pair. They could be a bit more adventurous, but the features, design and audio satisfy
Affordable ; Excellent Google Assistant integration ; Smooth, clear sound ; Comfortable fit
Audio presentation is rather polite ; No improvement in terms of battery life

Google's latest Pixel Buds cut out touch controls but offer better bass response at a fraction of the cost of the Google Pixel Buds 2.
Better bass response Hands-free Google Assistant Cheaper than the Pixel Buds 2
Not the most comfortable No noise cancellation Slightly fatiguing sound quality
The Google Pixel Buds A-Series offer nearly all the same features as the Pixel Buds 2 at half the price and with better bass response. They’re not the most comfortable true wireless earbuds, but we appreciate their slick design and built-in Google...

The new Pixel Buds get an A-grade from us
Well-rounded, clean sound ; Comfortable ; Reliable connection
No volume touch control on buds ; No noise-cancelling
Impressive sound for a reasonable price – and comfortable too

The Pixel Buds A-Series undercut the earlier Pixel Buds 2 on price, but what about the performance?
Great value for money ; Great audio performance ; Deeply integrated Google Assistant ; Google Fast Pair ; IXP4 waterproofing
No volume control on earbuds ; Limited isolation ; No active noise-cancellation (ANC)
These in-ears offer a lot for your money, including good sound performance, a great case, comfortable design, and deeply integrated Google Assistant. But external isolation is limited by design and there's no volume control on the 'buds themselves.

Back to basics 'buds: A or Nay? Several years after launch, the Google Pixel Buds A-Series are still affordable, but rivals have caught up
Clean and balanced sound ; Fast pairing and slick software ; Competitive price
No wireless charging ; Poor sound isolation
This simpler set of wireless in-ears strike a better balance between price and features than Google’s last effort. The Pixel Buds A-Series lack isolation and won’t fit comfortably in all ears, though.

Google has finally got a pair of headphones right, with the Pixel Buds A offering a nice balance of price, design and features.
Google Assistant support ; Plenty of smart features ; Good sound quality
Limited earbud battery life ; No ANC ; Can't customise controls
If you can live without things like wireless charging and noise cancelling - and want to prioritise smart features - then the Pixel Buds A-Series are the ones to buy.

The Google Pixel Buds A-Series are Google's pitch to deliver more affordable wireless earbuds that it claims still deliver great sound and clear calls. They're splash resistant and while there's no active noise-cancelling, Google Assistant is built in...

The true wireless Google Pixel Buds A-Series earphones offer good sound quality and hands-free Google Assistant voice control for an affordable price.

The new, cheaper Pixel Buds are a much better buy.
Sound quality just as good as regular Pixel Buds ; Improved comfort ; Retains IPX4 water resistance and features like ear detect despite low price
Some audio cutouts remain ; Ear hooks are nonremovable ; No more swipe controls for volume
Google has officially launched the Pixel Buds A-Series, which cost only $99. They deliver very good, balanced sound quality, support hands-free Google Assistant voice commands, and partly resolve the audio connection problems Google’s last earbuds had.

Premium earbuds without a premium price tag
Super comfortable and lightweight ; Excellent voice command integration ; Good audio quality ; Really affordable
Lack active noise cancellation ; Weak volume ; Still no equalizer
The Google Pixel Buds A-Series offer great audio and seamless Google Assistant integration for less than $100.
