Cygnett GrooveZone

Decent sound for an affordable price

Comfortable to wear for long periods, soft rubber cable, work with the iPhone, solid noise cancelling, included accessories

Flimsy build quality, easily scratched and marked, average sound quality

These headphones aren't outstanding but they offer reasonable sound for a fairly low asking price and the included accessories are a nice touch.

Cygnett GrooveZone headphones

Mmm, shiny: Cygnett's gleaming noise-isolating headphones are a little flimsy but deliver solid audio.

Snug earcans reduce some ambient noise. Full-bodied bass. Inexpensive. Comes with a heap of accessories.

Ears get warm after about half an hour. Construction feels cheap and flimsy.

The construction is a little flimsy, but the GrooveZones deliver solid audio. The mountain of included accessories is a nice bonus.

All up, the GrooveZones sound very good, if a little bass-heavy, and do well to temper surrounding noise. The shiny plastic finish unfortunately lends a cheap feel -- and we'd love to see an inline volume control -- but those complaints aside, these...

Cygnett GrooveZone headphones

I was looking for a cheap pair of noise cancelling headphones to help me survive a 22hr flight. I can tell you this headset was worth its weight in gold.

Despite the large ear-muff design, the headset was so comfortable that I fell asleep with them still on ; I don't know much about music quality, but they were superb working with my Ipod Nano, far better than the white ear plugs that came with the Ipod...

When I went to buy a pair, I brought it home and sound was only coming out of one ear. I took them back to the store and they went through two other pairs until they could find another pair with both ears working - this would suggest the design is not...
