Corsair HS35 Headset Review

Over the years Corsair has built a strong brand around offering high quality components, usually at It's Corsair's entry level gaming headset, but is it any good?

Affordable.

Vocals can sound muffled.

The HS35 is a decent headset. It hasn’t blown me away, but then again it’s only £40 and at that price it’s a solid purchase.

The Corsair HS35 is an okay wired gaming headset. It has a comfortable, lightweight design, but a cluttered, boomy sound profile that also sounds sharp at times....

Comfortable, lightweight design. Detachable microphone with excellent noise handling. Easy-to-use controls.

Cluttered sound profile. Microphone makes speech sound rather thin. Poor isolation.

The Corsair HS35 are disappointing for mixed usage. This wired gaming headset is bulky, has a cluttered sound profile, and doesn't isolate very well. That said, the microphone is detachable and the headset even comes with a port plug which is helpful...

Corsair HS35 Stereo Gaming Headset review

The Corsair HS35 Stereo Gaming Headset offers a well-rounded package for a low price. If you're after a gaming headset on a budget, you could do a lot worse.

Flexible microphone stalk that detaches when not required ; Good driver response in bass to middle frequencies ; Comfortable, lightweight fit for long play sessions ; Classic and understated styling

No USB connectivity ; Moulded cable connection ; Microphone tinny and crunchy

So, the fact that the HS35 does everything it’s supposed to do and does it quite well overall is welcome. There’s no point in being snobbish about that.

Corsair HS35 Gaming Headset

Got a pair as a present and was very surprised at how comfortable they are. Was missing a cable in the box for the microphone but Corsair sent out an extra cable to me straight away which is commendable customer service.
