Bragi Dash Pro review: All the smarts in a convenient, wire-free earphone

Bragi has addressed all the issues we found with the first generation Bragi Dash, and fixed them. Audio is improved, as is reliability. With its

Comfortable and snug fit whether you're exercising or sat idle ; Brilliant noise-cancelling and audio transparency pass-through features

Battery life in-between charges could be better ; Fitness tracking needs to be more accurate ; Some connection issues when app is open

In the Dash Pro, Bragi has made a great pair of sports earphones. The company has fixed all the issues we had with the first-generation Dash.

Bragi Dash review: The sound of the future?

In theory, the Bragi Dash could have been the perfect pair of truly wire-free earphones. They're small, comfortable and light. What's more,

Fantastic design ; Comfortable to wear and secure fit ; Decent battery life and fitness tracking

Inconsistent Bluetooth performance (causes issues for data and audio connection) ; Touch controls unreliable

In theory the Bragi Dash could have been the perfect pair of truly wire-free earphones. They're small, comfortable and light and come with an easy-to-carry aluminium charging case. What's more, they're packed with fitness-tracking capabilities

Bragi Dash Pro true wireless earbuds review

The Dash Pro show real promise, but buggy functionality has us once again pressing pause on Bragi's “hearable” future.

Excellent fitness tracking and automation ; Five-hour battery nearly doubles original Dash ; Improved response for touch controls ; Sleek, waterproof design

Finicky setup can be frustrating ; Occasionally buggy operation ; Bass-heavy sound takes a step back

Bragi’s new Dash Pro packs in even more features than the company’s original “wearable computer,” including nearly double the battery life, new gesture controls, and impressive workout functions. However, an extremely finicky setup process and bugs in...

Bragi Dash review

Bragi's Dash wireless earphones are packed with potential, but still feel like prototypes.

When everything works according to plan, the Dash are a brilliant example of high-end audio technology, with features galore and a cool-factor that blows through the roof. Unfortunately, the Dash still feel more like a prototype than a sterling example...

The fact that Bragi managed to deliver exactly what is said it would is an impressive feat alone. It took the company longer than anticipated, but the final product is a category first. Truly wireless headphones that break new ground in terms of...

Good sound ; Snug, secure fit ; Easy to use ; Excellent design and build quality ; Portable charging case

Bluetooth problems outdoors when the phone is in your pocket ; Sleeves for different ear sizes are ugly ; Still some bugs in the firmware ; Fitness features need expanding

Bragi Dash

An innovative product on multiple levels, the Bragi Dash is a truly cable-free wireless earphone pair that doubles as a fitness tracker.

Cable-free Bluetooth design. Powerful audio performance with solid bass response. Accurately counts steps. Protective case is also a charger. Exceptionally secure fit. 4GB of storage.

Sculpted audio not for everyone. Inaccurate heart rate measurements in testing. Meager battery life. Ambient room monitor has a slight delay. Controls take time to learn.

Conclusions What to make of the Bragi Dash? It comes down to your priorities—if you're all about fitness tracking and a cable-free, waterproof design, it could be worth the rather high price of entry. Audio performance is solid, but we expect a bit...
