Bose’s Ultra Open Earbuds are its boldest, most unique earbuds yet

Bose's goal in developing the new Ultra Open Earbuds was to create a pair of earbuds that you can truly wear all day. With a design that attaches to the side of your ears instead of going inside them, they're anything but conventional. Bose released...

Comfortable for long periods of time ; Grippy enough for running and exercise ; Allows for total awareness of your environment ; Good battery life ; Easy-to-use controls

No multipoint connectivity at launch ; No wireless charging (unless you buy additional case) ; Bass is lacking compared to traditional earbuds ; Immersive Audio significantly decreases battery life ; Too pricey for what you’re getting

I don’t doubt that creating a wholly new earbud form factor required comprehensive research and engineering. In fact, I know it did, so stay tuned for more on that in the future. But if Bose wants the Ultra Open Earbuds to avoid the same fate as its...

Bose Sport Open Earbuds Review

Bright, detailed audio performance ; Stable fit provides solid ear-to-ear audio balance ; Open design lets you hear your surroundings

Sorely lacking in the deep bass range ; Over-ear hooks not ideal for glasses ; Uses a charging base instead of a battery case

The true wireless Bose Sport Open Earbuds overcome some of the classic issues with this type of open design that lets your hear your surroundings, but they lack deep bass and don't come with a battery case.

Bose Sport Open Earbuds Truly Wireless Review

The Bose Sport Open Earbuds are open-ear headphones designed for outdoor sports. They have a stable fit and sit outside of your ears so you can still hear ambien...

Open-ear fit is good for running outside. Consistent audio reproduction. Great build quality and IPX4 rating for water resistance.

Leaks a lot of audio. Mediocre noise handling. No noise isolation. Lacking bass.

The Bose Sport Open Earbuds are mediocre for neutral sound. While they have a flat and balanced mid-range, they lack a lot of low-bass. Unfortunately, they don't have any sound enhancement features to help tweak their sound to your liking. Their design...

I Wish These Bose Earbuds Weren't So Damn Thick and Heavy

While these earbuds sound great and get me excellent situational awareness, I only have so much space behind my ear.

Good audio, with no sound leakage. Doesn't fall off your ears when you run. Great for situational awareness.

Heavy and bulky. Battery life is meh. Proprietary charger. App, what app?
