Bose Sleepbuds – recension

Bose Sleepbuds review

Sweet dreams?

Featherlight and comfortable to wear, at least initially ; Noise masking does work ; App interface is clean and uncluttered ; Great case ; Solid battery life

Some people will still find them uncomfortable when worn all night ; No physical controls ; No gradual alarm ; No sleep tracking ; £230 is a lot of money

Bose’s Sleepbuds are undoubtedly clever, but they’re very expensive considering the limited feature set, and won't necessarily improve your sleep

Bose Sleepbuds promise more blissful nights

Bose's new $249 Noise-Masking Sleepbuds are for better sleep, not listening to music. We tried them out.

Bose Sleepbuds review: Helpful but needs improvement

The Bose noise-masking sleepbuds are certainly expensive for a single-function device at $250, but how much would you pay for a good night's sleep? These are designed well, comfortable to wear for long periods and the white noise truly does mask most...

Comfortable to wear ; Secure fit ; Improves quality of life/sleep

Price ; Unreliable charging ; Finicky connection ; Limited number of white noise options

Bose Sleepbuds

The Bose Sleepbuds earphones block out noise and play sound loops to help you fall asleep, but they have been recalled and are no longer recommended.

Quality sound loops. Programmable sleep timers and alarms. Solid battery life.

Expensive. Earpieces can start to become uncomfortable after several hours. No innovative technology at work here.

I wanted the Sleepbuds to be something that I'm not sure any product can be: The answer to my often sleepless or sleep-light nights. And so my disappointment is partially rooted in somewhat unreasonable expectations. If I could use the Sleepbuds every...

Bose Sleepbuds review: Expensive, experimental, endearing

The Bose SleepBuds might be expensive and flawed but they are awfully likable.

Slick design ; Awesome app

Hard to say whether they'll actually help your sleep ; No noise cancelling ; Limited customisation

Bose Sleepbuds review: These wireless earbuds are designed carry you to la-la-land

The noted headphone manufacturer applies its noise-handling expertise to help you get a better night's sleep.

Tight-fitting silicone tips block ambient noise while soothing electronic sound effects cancel out what still gets through ; Carrying case recharges the powered earbuds while they’re in storage ; Very comfortable to wear while sleeping

Sleepbuds can’t be used for phone calls or for streaming music ; Even more people would get a better fit if Bose provided the ear tips and wings as separate components ; The price tag could keep you up at night
