Beats Solo Buds review: budget earbuds with an epic battery… but where’s the bass?

These buds trade audio quality for an 18-hour continuous battery life

Awesome 18-hour in-bud battery life ; Compact buds with comfortable fit ; Cheapest Beats buds ever

Quiet and lacking in bass ; No ANC or in-ear detection ; Can get better sound at this budget

As Beats' smallest, cheapest and longest-lasting earbuds, the Beats Solo Buds may feel like a bargain. They’re supremely comfortable, easy to carry around in a pocket, and have an epic battery life. And while they miss out on higher-end features such...

Beats Solo Buds

Beats Solo Buds

Beats' budget buds are brilliantly tiny but don't have noise canceling, transparency mode, or—gulp—water resistance.

Brilliantly tiny and lightweight case. Comfy, user-friendly design. Auto-pairing, Find My support, and settings adjustments for iOS and Android. Baseline Spatial Audio. The best battery playback time I've tested.

No noise canceling or transparency mode. No iOS audio switch. Lack of standards like auto-pause, case battery, and water resistance. Control keys are hard to press. Sound quality is accessible but basic.

Beats Solo Buds Review: Tiny Case And Big Sound, But At The Cost Of Some Features - SlashGear

The Beats Solo Buds offer a tiny case that easily fits in your pocket and long battery life in the buds, but they also come with some pretty big compromises.

Beats Solo Buds review: Punchy audio, compact design but lacks ANC

Beats Solo Buds, priced at Rs 6,900, is one of the most affordable earbuds in the Beats universe. It has a punchy audio, a long-lasting battery, a light and compact design. However at its price tag, the lack of ANC leaves you asking for more. Read the...

These Beats headphones are Perfect if You're Torn Between Apple and Android

The Beats Solo Buds are fairly basic $80 true wireless earbuds. They have two major strengths which I'll describe in this review.

Amazing battery life ; Intuitive pairing with Android and iOS devices ; Multipoint Connectivity with Android and iOS devices ; Ultra-compact case

Poor audio quality ; Case has no battery ; Charges via USB-C but cable is not included ; No Active Noise Cancellation ; No head tracking for spatial audio ; No equalizer ; No wireless charging supported ; No wear detection

Would I recommend you buy the Beats Solo Buds for $79.99? No. The Nothing Ear (a) (review) is a much better alternative, there's no question about that. That's just pure supposition. In my opinion, the Beats Solo Buds are Apple's attempt to test the...

Beats Solo Buds review: specifications, features, price

The Beats Solo Buds are the cheapest wireless earphones Apple produces, yet still offer outstanding battery life and an astoundingly small case.

Beats Solo Buds review: Small case, less waste, and balanced bass

Beats Solo Buds have the new signature neutral tuning, and a relatively tiny price. Only thing smaller is their case size, but that comes at a cost One of the most inexpensive Beats earbuds to date sounds great while taking up little space
