Altec Lansing UHP336 In-ear Earphones

Stunning audio clarity

Exceptional clarity in mids and highs, tight and precise bass response, good noise isolation, decent bundle

Not suitable for portable devices, overly stiff cable, design not comfortable for everyone, slightly expensive

Great midrange and treble reproduction, good design and fit

Stiff cable, missing L/R markers, bass reproduction a bit lacking

Hear here... or something like that

I was recently in the market for a set of in-ear monitor/earphones. I started searching with the Shure series, since I was most familiar with them. Shure makes some of the best in-ears, but they can be pricey... starting in the low $100 range ...

Ambient noise reduction, solidly built, quality sound

Bass is adequate at best, silicone ear tips not for everyone
