Altec Lansing BackBeat 906 Phone Review

Great-sounding calls ; Bluetooth adapter for iPods and MP3 players

Pricey ; Cumbersome to fit, depending on your ear size

If your music player lacks Bluetooth support, the BackBeat 906 includes a handy dongle to provide wire-free listening.

If you are looking for a Bluetooth headset that is equally adept at handling voice calls and music, you might want to check out Altec Lansing's latest.

The Altec Lansing BackBeat 906 may not be the prettiest pair of headphones around, but it is a solid all-round performer. Audio performance is decent, while voice quality is amongst the best we've have experienced. At S$199, it can be relatively...

Great!

Confortable, it will feel somewhat loose at first but you get used to it. Adator can be connected to anything, at the gym I sometimes connect it to the Tv in the treadmill. Headphone is flexible, and you can fit in your pockets with no problem.

Durability - Some people said that it stopped working because of sweat, so the first thing I did was wear mine to the gym for the past month, and also wear it at work (electrician) where I am always in dusty places. So far it is still working ;...

If I have my Ipod Nano in my pocket with their bluetooth adapter, and I lay over that pocket I kinda lose the signal, but if I am using my iphone, I don't have that problem, so I think that the bluetooth signal coming out of the adaptor is not strong...

oem phones are better

They are compatible with my iPhone and most others are not. Thy have a good battery life. They fit in a cargo pocket

They are uncomfortable, hard to fit, and awkward to wear. I am told by people I call that i sound like i am under water. The bass boost function makes them crackle. They sometimes they intermittently disconnect and reconnect regardless of distance to...
