AfterShokz Trekz Titanium wireless headphones review

Open-ear headphones that send music down your cheekbones

Increased awareness ; Useful in gyms & offices ; Flexible, lightweight design

Loose neck-strap ; Excessive vibrations ; Short battery life ; Some sound leakage

With nothing in your ears, these near-ear bone conduction speakers offer a genuinely new way of listening to music. However, with a slight lack of comfort, clarity and volume, and bass that comes with vibrations, they don't consistently impress.

AFTERSHOKZ Trekz Titanium review

  (Rating Hidden)

The wireless Trekz Titanium headphones from Aftershokz look like they've been nicked from a sci-fi film set and the way they deliver music is pretty far out too. Rather than earbuds these headphones actually send the sound through your cheekbones. Does...

Aftershokz Trekz Titanium review

Weathering both salty sweat and the daily gym-bag battering, Trekz Titaniums are perfect for fitness.

Thumbs up for a really good mic, and for eliminating the problems that persist with wired headphones – no cord to get caught and rip out is always worth a mention with sport headphones. But the Trekz Titanium AS600’s aren’t easy to store without the...

Review: AfterShokz Trekz Titanium | Sound In The Skull AfterShokz Trekz Titanium

Trekz Titanium does not enter the ear, but instead pumps sound in through the cheekbones.

The Titanium hoop sits as if glued to the head. Because the ears are free, one can still hear everything that is going on around one.

As expected, the sound is not outrageously deep or high. Its use is somewhat limited.

Trekz Titanium is a fun gadget. They are comfortable to wear, and play well despite their natural limitations. Unfortunately, their use is somewhat limited as they are not suitable for anything other than outdoor activities. For the outdoors, they are...

AfterShokz Wireless Trekz Titanium Bone Conduction Headphones

Bone conduction technology has been around for a while, even before Beethoven pressed his ear against a piano and clasped a rod in his teeth to hear his compositions. But AfterShokz is bringing it mainstream to the active community with the new Trekz...

Aftershokz Wireless Trekz Titanium Bone Conduction Bluetooth Headphones review

Back when I was a teenager, my dad told me that if I continue to go to loud concerts and listen to loud music, I will ruin my ears. And god bless him, he was right. Since I was 19 I've suffered from Tinnitus – a constant ringing in my ears. It took m...

Keep ears free while listening to audio ; Good microphone ; Sweat-proof

None

If you need your ears free or if you suffer from Tinnitus, these are a great choice for listening to audio.

Great for running

These headphones are great if you are active. They stay in place well and allow you to hear sounds around you such as traffic and do not move even when running and sweating. Battery life is good and they are easy to pair. Music is not as loud as...

Love My Headphones

As soon as I received the box I knew it looked a high quality product. They are very light and easily connected to my phone. The thing I love most about these is the way they do not move on your head, with earbuds (especially when moving quickly) they...

Not very practical!

The sound quality of these headphones were a lot better than I thought they would be, HOWEVER... The design is not great. They aren't adjustable at all so won't fit everybody comfortably. They keep slipping down at the back which is highly annoying. If...
