Able Planet Clear Harmony NC1050

Is the clarity of these noise cancelling headphones enough to make them Bose-beaters?

Great clarity, Good comfort

Sub-Bose build and cancellation, Suffer from mobile phone interference, Unbalanced bass

Able Planet Clear Harmony NC1100B (Black) review

Able Planet makes a number of noise-canceling headphones, and the NC1100B is the Colorado company's highest-end mode with a retail price of $299.99.

The comfortable and sturdy Able Planet NC1100B noise-canceling headphones offer effective noise-canceling circuitry, fold for compact storage in an included carrying case, have a volume control integrated into the cord, and are usable without turning...

They're just as expensive as the Bose QuietComfort 15s but sacrifice sound quality for oversaturated bass tonality.

The Able Planet NC1100B noise-canceling headphones match up to their Bose competitors in many respects, but the sound quality falls short and the noise canceling is lacking.

Able Planet NC1000CH Clear Harmony review

Able Planet Clear Harmony active noise-cancelling headphones

The Clear Harmony active noise-canceling headphones offer dramatic noise reduction and a rich listening experience.

The Clear Harmony is an expensive product, and Able Planet has yet to establish a reputation on high-end audio turf.

The Clear Harmony holds its own against the competition. But without a price incentive, few users will risk choosing an unknown brand over an established one.

Able Planet Clear Harmony NC1050 Review

Able Planet's radically liberal approach to DSP with the Clear Harmony NC1020 seems to create more problems than solutions.

Able Planet’s radically liberal approach to DSP with the Clear Harmony NC1020 seems to create more problems than solutions. We enjoyed the headphone’s affinity for detail, but its bright mids, pounding bass, and Kodachrome color treatment of the music...

Able Planet Clear Harmony NC1050

The Able Planet Clear Harmony NC1050 offers excellent audio performance and very good noise cancellation, making it a solid competitor in a crowded field led by Bose.

Excellent audio performance with strong bass, clear highs, and no distortion. Quality active noise cancellation. Extremely comfortable fit, ideal for long listening sessions.

A slight hiss is occasionally detectable when noise cancellation is activated. Uses AAA batteries instead of a rechargeable cell.
