Batteries are expensive to replace on all rechargeable shavers. In the past I have thrown away most of my shavers because of dead batteries. If you don't have a special need for a rechargeable, and few of us do, stick with a corded model

I use them for at least 45 shaves, but I use it in the shower. I have not had a problem, but I run it under the shower before cleaning it. Using it dry may cause the cartridge to get dirtier faster.

I bought this for my wife a year ago. She uses it and loves it. Especially good in tight places due to smallish size, yet does not nick very delicate skin. Also good to reduce hair length in areas that will be shaven with a razor after trimming.
