Weber "Q" 220 Grill

Electric ignition works perfectly! Coated cast iron grill distributes heat evenly. Heats quickly, almost no waiting required. Thermometer gives you complete control.

Very heavy if you plan to use the portability of the unit.

Nice Portable Grill

This is just what you would expect from Weber - nothing super fancy, but solid and reliable. I've been using the smaller Baby-Q model for many years, with never a glitch, only great results. I expect that this grill will perform equally well.

Easy electronic ignition with a single, easy to replace AA cell. Grill can get very hot, very fast, when needed. Cast iron grill plate is great for searing meats. Higher domed lid allows room for larger cuts of meat with the lid down. Thermometer in...

Fold out side shelves are a bit flimsy, but OK for holding a plate while moving food on or off the grill.

I bought a Weber grill stand, which included an adapter to use 20lb propane tanks. This is how I usually cook. When I go to the park for a cookout, I usually take just the grill and use a small camping propane tank (easily enough for an afternoon, when...

This is a very well-built grill. I've used this grill regularly for almost a year without any issues. High points: * The electric ignition is solid - it still lights reliably after nearly a year on the original battery. * Portability - can simply fold...

* There is only one burner, so if you want multiple cooking zones, this isn't the grill for you. * The burner will occasionally get food/debris into the holes out of which propane gas flows, causing the ignition chain to stop temporarily. I have to...

Wonderful Grill

My wife and I were looking for a nice portable grill to replace the aging house grill, we figured a capable grill that can travel would serve us fine. In this area, for quality, we found two choices for brands, C*leman and Weber. We went with the Q220...

My older model(2+ yrs) came with non-coated cast grill plate which I season regularly. I love it! Plenty of room, cooks large foul, hams, or like a dozen or more burger pattys at once. Comes up to temp fast. Rugged. Nice accessories available for these...

Drip pan system on the older model could have been larger, and not require special pans for that constant buy. They should have enameled that and not the grill top! Mine had an early issue with the regulator, I called Weber, they sent me a new one,...
